 What is Endermology and EndermologieŽ?
Endermology has come to means the process of reduction of Cellulite by mechanical means - using certain processes massage, rolling and manipulation of the tissues. There are several products in hte market that claim to be Endermology - but only EndermologieŽ is the patented and proven technique for Cellulite reduction using these methods.
EndermologieŽ is a non surgical procedure which helps eliminate cellulite and assists in achieving visible improvement in body shape and skin tone. It is the first cellulite treatment that has been approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It was developed in the early 1980's by Louis-Paul Guitay (hence LPG EndermologieŽ ).
Initially it was used in the treatment of burns to prevent skin contraction and loosen scar tissue. It was noted that it improved the appearance of cellulite and became widely used in France and USA for aesthetic purposes.
